Short Stop Repairs Scheduled – After strong winds tore down the canopy on North Main back in March, repairs are finally scheduled. Construction begins Sept. 30 and will wrap up by Oct. 10.
Fair Oaks Ranch Street Work – Crews have completed tack seal work on No Le Hace, Grand Coteau, Saddle Song, and Mandetta. The final micro-slurry seal coat will be applied Sept. 17–18. Residents are asked not to park on the streets or run sprinklers during work.
Boerne Police Scam Alert – Scammers are posing as City of Boerne Utilities, demanding fake past-due payments. Remember, Utilities will never ask for payment over the phone. Report suspicious calls to Boerne PD at 830-249-8645 or contact Utilities directly.

Boerne Volleyball – The Greyhounds fell to Alamo Heights 3–1 on Tuesday despite a strong performance from Presley Alsabrook (5 digs, 2 aces—her best ace tally in six matches). Boerne has dropped four of its last five and now sits at 17–9. Next up: Boerne takes on McCollum Friday at 6:30 p.m.
Boerne-Champion Volleyball – The Chargers were swept by Pieper 3–0 in district play Tuesday night.
Comfort Volleyball – The Bobcats’ JV and Varsity teams both scored wins at home over Harper, giving Comfort a boost of momentum.
Football Friday – Champion travels to Smithson Valley for a 7 p.m. kickoff. Boerne and Comfort are also in action this weekend under the lights.
