The season of giving is officially here, and the Boerne Police Department alongside Walmart volunteers is stepping up to make sure every child in our community has a bright Christmas.

🎁 The annual Boerne PD Toy Drive is underway, collecting new, unwrapped toys that will be delivered to local families through Hill Country charities. Officers will be outside the Boerne Walmart throughout the week greeting shoppers, taking donations, and spreading holiday cheer.

All toys stay local, supporting families right here in Kendall County. Whether you drop off a toy, donate at checkout, or swing by to say hello, you’re helping bring joy to kids who need it most this season.

Flood Watch Announced for Thursday Night into Friday Morning
The City of Boerne is monitoring a significant rain system expected to bring 1–3 inches, with isolated spots receiving up to 6 inches. A Flood Watch is in effect from midnight Thursday, Nov. 20, through 6 a.m. Friday, Nov. 21. Residents should avoid low-water crossings and keep an eye on changing creek levels.

Temporary Traffic Signal Installed at I-10 & Fair Oaks Parkway
TxDOT has activated a temporary light system at the I-10/Fair Oaks intersection. If you notice outages or malfunctions, report them directly to the state for quick response.

Community Toy Drives & Holiday Giving Begin Across Kendall County
Local organizations including Boerne PD, churches, and nonprofit partner are launching Christmas assistance programs for families impacted by recent severe weather and rising costs.
