Kendall County families are invited to an important free community forum addressing youth substance use, prevention strategies, and real local data. Speakers include Sheriff Al Auxier, Judge David Neighbor, Bryce Boddie of Hill Country Family Services, Krista Pomaroy from Boerne ISD, and Andrea Salazar from HCCADA.

Parents will hear practical tips, expert insights, and guidance on promoting healthy decisions among students and young adults. Hosted by Hill Country Council on Alcohol & Drug Abuse and SAMHSA Communities Talk.

The Boerne Greyhounds are headed to a huge regional championship rematch with Alamo Heights at Alamo Stadium. Both teams come in at 12–1, and Boerne is still the only team to beat the Mules this season, setting the stage for a massive Friday night for Hill Country football fans.

A big congratulations to the Champion Chargers, who wrapped up a hard-fought season and represented Kendall County with heart, hustle, and class all year long.

On the pitch, soccer season is kicking off. The Geneva girls travel to New Braunfels for the John Paul II tournament, while the Geneva boys stay local for a showdown with Our Lady of the Hills.

In the pros, the San Antonio Spurs are coming off a tight 114–112 road win over the Orlando Magic, giving this young squad a nice boost of momentum heading into their next stretch of games.
